Poloniex removes margin and lending products for US-based customers and delists three assets

On October 3, a crypto exchange Poloniex announced its decision to remove margin and lending products for US-based customers and to delist three assets.

Removing the margin and lending products for US-based customers is a part of the exchange’s ongoing commitment to ensure that Poloniex complies with regulatory requirements in every jurisdiction.

Poloniex will provide more communication in the coming weeks about the final date but, according to the announcement, it will be by the end of the year and encourage customers to take steps to unwind margin positions at their convenience.

Existing loans will remain open and continue to fund positions and earn interest for their previously specified duration.

On October 10 at 12:00pm ET the exchange will be delisting three assets: AMP, EXP, GNO.

Customers have until November 9 at 12:00pm ET to close out any trades and withdraw any balances in these assets.

Once the withdrawal deadline has been reached (November 9 at 12:00pm ET), withdrawals will be disabled and the asset will be fully decommissioned.

You need more feature, Poloniex, not the listing of new one-days coins! Just think about this

People don’t understand that the fact that poloniex still exist is not by chance. I’m sure they have payed corrupted authorities to ignore their scams

Poloniex doesn’t know what customer care means. They even don’t want to learn anything about this and continue implementing smth ultra-modern

Not every user is aware that poloniex should be avoided. I’ll feel safer if they cancel and disappear

I believe poloniex’s margin trading for non usa residents means nothing. That’s not an advantage

Poloniex users gotta know that they dont have to stay on the platform if theyre tired of it, there are lots of alternatives that dont make you cringe unlike Polo, so mb they should give those a try?

Don’t deplore poloniex business. It was a dangerous and illegal one and it will be rewarded as deserved

poloniex is just playing for time. they dont wanna close and at the same time have no money to continue working

Poloniex’s clients responsibility is not to lose their money after every delisting. be careful and monitor poloniex announcements, they will be more and more in the future

instead of blaming the authorities poloniex should better look for some solutions. I’m sure, there’s the light in the end of tunnel
