At the end of May a cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex got banking agreements that will allow some clients to trade in USA dollars.
On May 31, the exchange launched fiat trading for Bitcoin, Tether and TrueUSD.
On August 8, Bittrex announced that on August 20, it will launch US dollar (USD) markets for Ethereum Classic (ETC) and XRP (XRP).
“We’re going to continue adding tokens to our USD markets, providing our customers even more convenient, fast and secure trading options as well as access to some of the world’s most innovative blockchain projects”, – write the Bittrex team.
As of August 20, some users will have access to USD markets for BTC, ETH, USDT, TUSD, ETC and XRP.
Current Bittrex corporate and personal account customers, who reside in eligible states and qualified international regions, are able to apply for USD trading at this time. For current customers living outside the initially approved locations, more states will be added over time.
The initially approved locations are Washington State, California, New York and Montana as well as qualified international regions.
