Educational bitcoin courses are held in Salvadoran schools

In El Salvador, which in 2021 became the first state to legalize bitcoin, educational courses on the main cryptocurrency were launched.

On December 26, a video of a lesson appeared on Twitter, during which the teacher explains to students how to use the Lightning Network protocol. During the lesson, students applied their knowledge to get bitcoins to their wallets.

The educational bitcoin program was organized by the staff of the Mi Primer Bitcoin project (“My first Bitcoin”). This year they plan to train 10,000 children and adults. According to experts, at least 300,000 people will take courses in 2023.

The purpose of the Mi Primer Bitcoin is to promote digital assets. Teachers want to encourage people to take their first step in the field of cryptocurrencies, for example, to receive BTC from a friend or buy coins on the exchange.
