ePayments is a payment system established in London in 2011. This service solves the problem of receiving payment from customers from different countries.
On July 8, ePayments users received an e-mail from the company:
«Please be careful! The sites are detected that use the name and design of ePayments to cheat and phish: epayménts .com and epayments-wallet .com. They appear in the first place in the search engine Google.»
Clients who follow these links are redirected to a site similar to the login page to the ePayments personal account, where the entered data (login and password) are captured by attackers, which leads to the compromise of the account.
The ePayments team works with Google and other services to stop the work of these sites as soon as possible and get them out of search results.
