Students from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo will have the opportunity to pass courses in the metaverse subject. The curriculum on virtual worlds will be available in late 2022.
This initiative will allow studying modern information technologies, artificial intelligence and programming, regardless of gender, age, social condition, and place of residence. Even schoolchildren will begin to study metaverse and the prospects in this industry.
The project’s primary goal is to eliminate the staff lack in the digital transformation field, which means this sector will be sought-after at the government level.
