A cryptocurrency exchange OKEx will suspend Ethereum Classic (ETC) deposit and withdrawal at 23:00 on May 29, 2018 (Hong Kong time) due to ETC hard fork.
Ethereum Classic (ETC) will make a hard fork at block 5,900,000 to diffuse its difficulty bomb (ECIP 1041). The hard fork will be performed to ensure the security of the ETC mainnet without creating a new token.
The services of OKEx will resume once the hard fork is completed and the mainnet’s stability is confirmed.
OKEx will also suspend EOS (EOS) deposit and withdrawal during EOS Mainnet token swap. Suspension starts from 18:00 May 31, 2018 (Hong Kong time).
EOS mainnet token swap will be implemented at 06:59:59 on June 2, 2018 (Hong Kong time, UTC+8). To register customers’ EOS tokens from ERC20 network to EOS mainnet, the exchange will suspend EOS deposit and withdrawal services 24 hours in advance of the swap. EOS trading will not be affected.
OKEx will resume the services once the swap is completed and the stability of the mainnet is confirmed.
«You are advised to make deposit prior to the suspension if it is necessary. During the suspension, please do NOT deposit any EOS into OKEx. Otherwise, your tokens will be irretrievable. While the transfers of EOS between your trading accounts will not be affected. If you want to raise the position margin, you can always transfer your EOS to your Futures Account from your Spot or Fiat Account. Upon completion of the EOS token swap, all existing EOS deposit and withdrawal addresses will be discarded.
