Saylor Proclaims Bitcoin as the Foremost Digital Metamorphosis of the 21st Century

Michael Saylor, a prominent Bitcoin advocate, has declared Bitcoin as the “greatest digital transformation of the 21st century.” He views Bitcoin as digital capital, superior to physical capital, as investors seek a haven to sidestep macroeconomic risks.

Saylor, who compares Bitcoin to a chess game where every move counts, continues to amass Bitcoin through his company, Strategy. The company’s total holdings have reached 576,230 Bitcoins, acquired at an average price of $69,726. Strategy’s most recent purchase involved acquiring 7,390 Bitcoins for $765 million, which averages to approximately $103,498 per Bitcoin. The company currently holds Bitcoins with a value of $59 billion, with a gain of $19.2 billion.

Saylor has also encouraged corporations, such as Microsoft, to adopt Bitcoin as a core corporate strategy, stating that it is the best asset to hold in order to drive shareholder value and outperform competitors.
