New York has been the leading financial, cultural and media capital of the world for centuries. NYC’s creative spirit has made it the perfect home to host NFT.NYC.
“New York City, NFT Community, NFT.NYC is here. I can’t wait to be a part of it. I can’t wait to be running around the city all first week of November. I can’t wait to speak at the event. I can’t wait to be a part of this iconic week that I think we’ll all remember.” Gary Vaynerchuk, CEO, VaynerMedia #NFTNYC2021 speaker.
The mission of NFT.NYC is to:
- Give Community members a voice by putting as many community members on stage as possible.
- Bring community together so they can brainstorm ideas.
- Share with the broader community why and how important NFTs are to all of us.
This year’s festival is 3 full days, 600+ speakers across 3 different staged venues. Jodee Rich, NFT.NYC Co-founder talked about the Tuesday morning takeover of Times Square. The first thousand attendees to arrive at the Red Steps will receive an NFT.NYC hat.
The NFT.NYC 2019 was held over one day with 460 attendees and 85 speakers. In 2020, the event grew to provide 10 hours of back to back NFT insights and use cases from startups, growing brands and world-class enterprises.
“The NFT community was tiny in 2018 and signalled incredible potential to grow. There was a need to bring the space together in an event just for us.”- Cameron Bale, Co-Founder, NFT.NYC.
“NFTs are eating the internet. In addition to all the popular use cases, there are so many in the works: usernames, fonts, ad space, community badges, subscriber content“ – Alex Atallah, Co-Founder & CTO, OpenSea
