Bitcoin (BTC) price rises: the market is waiting for SEC decision on ProShares ETF

The crypto community is waiting for crypto-ETF decision from the USA Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Bitcoin (BTC) is trading at $6 473,02 (1,13% in a 24-hour period) at press time. The total market capitalization is $214 271 891 548. The market is also waiting for the SEC decision to begin rising or falling.

Currently there are four upcoming important dates for ETF decision from the SEC:

  • August 23: ProShares ETF Final Deadline. 2 possible outcomes: approved or denied.
  • September 7: Bitwise ETF First Deadline. 3 possible outcomes: approved, denied, or delayed.
  • September 21: Direxion ETF Final Deadline. 2 possible outcomes: approved or denied.
  • September 30: CBOE VanEck / SolidX ETF Second Deadline. 3 possible outcomes: approved, denied, or delayed.

On August 7, the SEC delayed CBOE VanEck / SolidX Bitcoin-ETF decision until September 30, while at the end of July the Winklevoss Bitcoin ETF was rejected by the SEC.
