KuCoin closes series A round of funding, plans to bring its platform 2.0 to life

On November 14, a crypto exchange KuCoin announced it had closed its Series A Round of Funding, raising $20 million (USD) from IDG Capital, Matrix Partners and Neo Global Capital “to bring cryptocurrency to the masses”.

According to the announcement, KuCoin will use this financing to bring KuCoin Platform 2.0 to life and increase customer support staff to offer concierge-level service to all traders.

The exchange is also going to use the financing to expand globally; to accelerate research to find the best of the best in blockchain projects, and to educate and train blockchain talents.
